360 Wind Fans or Air Conditioners

Wind fans and air conditioners have become an integral part of our lives. We use this to combat the intense heat, to keep control rooms or server rooms as cool as possible, and to avoid the motorist from burning out in their vehicles. A wind fan consists of an electric motor and a blade to blast wind in any direction as per the placement of the fan. We can set it at any speed we desire, depending on how intense the heat is. I use a wind fan at night when I have trouble sleeping during the warm summer nights. Wind fans can also be detrimental to our health and respiratory system. Dust particles tend to gather on the blades when the fan has not been used for quite some time. It is of utmost importance to make sure you clean the blade before using the fan. When not in use, store it in a bag or a storage cupboard.

Electric wind fans blow wind from one point to another point in a curved horizontal motion. However, not many people can enjoy the benefit of the wind unless you move the fan further away from the intended target(s) and at a higher speed. Air conditioners in vehicles also blow air in one direction from the dashboard or from below the seats for backseat passengers. It keeps the passengers as cool as possible but can also be a health concern.

Dust is everywhere! There is no way that we’re getting rid of those tiny buggers. Dust also sits on the dashboards of vehicles and in the vents of the air conditioners. To minimize the health risk of inhaling the dust on the dashboard and vents, make sure that you wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth (anti-fluff or dust cloth).

With this being said, innovators and automobile makers need to gather their teams and implement the following:

360-degree wind turning fans for maximum benefit for everyone sitting around it. And, the automobile makers should build air conditioners embedded in the roofs of their vehicles for maximum and the ultimate satisfaction for the front and backseat passengers.

Smart Bedside Cabinet

The first thing we do in the morning when we wake up from a night's rest is to check our mobile phones. We do this to see who called, texted, and emailed you while you were sleeping. Some of us, I think the majority, use our mobile devices as alarm clocks. Although, some still believe in the traditional alarm clock. We place our mobile devices on our bedside cabinet when we go to bed alongside our spectacles, a book, and the bedside lamp.

The idea of a smart cabinet popped into my head when I spotted a bedside cabinet on Pinterest that has a coffee machine built into it. When the alarm goes off, the coffee will already be brewed, and it'll automatically pour you a cup while still in bed. A smart cabinet will be a superb innovation especially for business owners, politicians, professionals, and the leaders of multi-million dollar companies. Imagine waking up next to a smart cabinet that can check and display your emails, phone calls, security cameras, brew coffee, turn on the shower or run a bath, open the curtains, order food, and many more.

A smart cabinet like this with a variety of functionality can be compared to J.A.R.V.I.S in Iron Man. To top it off, it would also be extra awesome if the cabinet has a holographic display. It may be costly to design and produce but it can be done. Therefore, I’m calling on all the innovators to make this possible!

Velcro Clothes/Cupboard (no hangers)

The first thing you do when you get home from work or an event is to get undressed and then get dressed into comfortable clothing that you wear in your home. For me, it’s a nightmare! I hate getting undressed when I get home because now I would have to neatly hang my clothing or throw it with the dirty laundry. Garments like jackets and trousers aren’t washed as frequently as underwear, t-shirts, and socks. The worst part of undressing when you get home is that your clothing will inevitably end up on the “chair”. If you don’t have the “chair” in your room - well done! If you do, I might have a solution to our problem.

It’s been a long day at work and the only thing you can think about is pouring yourself a huge glass of wine or warm tea in your PJs. Unfortunately, one of the most annoying tasks needs to first take place - removing your corporate apparel. This is how the “chair” came into existence! When you get home from work every day, the “chair” keeps on piling up. By the end of the business week, the “chair” is greater than Mount Everest and as smelly as a honey badger. What if, when you get home, you can simply get undressed and attach your garments to a drop sheet that sticks like Velcro. This is mainly for clothing that is not washed regularly.

Imagine placing your garments on a Velcro-like drop sheet which can be rolled up into a scroll box that will not only eliminate the “chair” but will also suppress the honey badger smell. If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, you’re on the correct path. This can be a fashion label too! Velcro fashion or Velclo. An ordinary t-shirt or trousers with Velcro embedded in it will make it easier to neatly pack them against the Velcro-like scroll sheet. This idea will also be perfect for garments such as underwear and socks etc. The advancement and innovation of an idea like this will ultimately motivate the consumer to choose the technology of this sort to have fewer cupboards and wardrobes in their home.

Doordrobe

Wardrobes and cupboards have been around for centuries to harbor our clothing to prevent them from attracting dust, and to keep them clean. An expensive or precious garment is normally covered in plastic before we pack it in the wardrobe to fend off the material from the other garments. The price of a wardrobe depends not only on its size but mainly on the quality of the wood it is made of. Today, architects are designing homes that contain built-in wardrobes and cupboards. However, many people still prefer the traditional way.

Depending on the size of your bedroom, wardrobes tend to occupy tremendous space which can limit the number of ways you can shift your bedroom. Should you feel like shifting, painting, or renovating your bedroom, moving the heavy wardrobe(s) will undoubtedly be an arduous task irrespective of removing all the garments inside. If your home has wood or laminated flooring, like me, you should know how terrible moving these beasts can be. The amount of damage it does to the floor is unbearable. There may be a way that can help with the burden of wardrobes.

A door wardrobe (doordrobe), is something I thought of when I attempted to disassemble my wardrobe and then modify it into a smaller one because of the wasted space. Eventually, I found a way to fill the space. While doing so, I looked at my bedroom door and I asked myself: “What if the inside of the door contains space, or is deep enough to harbor my basic garments?” A wardrobe within a door. Hence, doordrobe. An idea like this can easily be incorporated with the above-mentioned Velcro clothing.

For those closet designers, architects, and innovators, here is a challenge and a business opportunity for you. Think out of the wardrobe!
